FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our mobile notary, apostille, translation, and fingerprinting services.
What is a mobile notary and how does it work?
A mobile notary is a commissioned notary public who travels to your location to notarize your documents. Instead of you going to a bank or UPS store, we come to your home, office, hospital, or coffee shop at a time that works for you. You present your valid photo ID, sign in our presence, and we complete the notarization on the spot.
What do I need to bring to a notary appointment?
You need a valid, government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, state ID, or military ID). Bring the unsigned document(s) — do NOT sign ahead of time; we must witness your signature. If the document requires additional signers, they must also be present with their IDs.
What areas do you serve?
We serve all of New York State — New York City (Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island), Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk Counties), Westchester, and Upstate New York including Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse. We are 100% mobile and come to you.
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday: 10am–10pm. Saturday and Sunday: 11am–10pm. Same-day appointments are available, and after-hours service may be possible depending on the documents. Book online or call us to check availability.
How much does a notary service cost?
New York State caps notary fees at $2 per signature, and our mobile travel fee starts at $45 within NYC and $65 outside NYC. Loan signing services start at $175. Visit our pricing page for a full breakdown. We provide free, no-obligation quotes for all services.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, Zelle, and Cash App. Payment is due at the time of service.
What is an apostille and when do I need one?
An apostille is a certification that authenticates the origin of a public document for use in another country. You typically need one when you're planning to work, study, marry, or conduct business abroad and a foreign authority requires your US-issued document to be authenticated. Apostilles are issued under the Hague Convention of 1961 and are recognized by over 120 member countries.
How long does apostille processing take?
Standard apostille processing typically takes 1-3 weeks depending on NYS Department of State processing times. Expedited processing is available for an additional fee when faster turnaround is needed. Contact us for current timelines.
What documents can be apostilled?
Birth certificates, death certificates, marriage licenses, divorce decrees, diplomas, transcripts, background checks, FBI clearance letters, Power of Attorney documents, corporate documents, court orders, adoption papers, medical records, and more. If you're unsure whether your document qualifies, contact us for a free review.
What is Remote Online Notarization (RON)?
Remote Online Notarization (RON) allows you to have your documents legally notarized via a secure, encrypted video call — no in-person meeting required. You present your valid photo ID on camera, sign electronically, and we apply a digital notary seal and certificate. The entire session is recorded and stored as required by New York State law. RON is fast, convenient, and fully compliant with NYS remote notarization regulations.
Is online notarization legal and accepted everywhere?
Yes. Remote Online Notarization is legal in New York State and recognized across all 50 states under federal law. Digitally notarized documents carry the same legal weight as in-person notarizations. Our RON sessions comply with all NYS requirements including identity verification, audiovisual recording, and secure electronic journaling.
What do I need for a Remote Online Notary session?
You need: (1) a valid government-issued photo ID, (2) a device with a camera and microphone (smartphone, tablet, or computer), (3) a stable internet connection, and (4) the unsigned document(s). We'll send you a secure link to join the video session — the whole process typically takes 15-20 minutes.
Which is better for me — in-person mobile notary or Remote Online Notary?
Both are excellent options. Choose in-person mobile notary if you prefer face-to-face interaction or have physical documents that must be wet-signed. Choose RON if you want the fastest, most convenient option — no travel, no waiting, and same-day appointments are often available within hours. RON is ideal for busy professionals, parents, people with mobility challenges, or anyone who simply prefers handling things online.
Do you offer certified translations?
Yes. We provide certified translations completed by qualified professional translators, each accompanied by a signed Certificate of Accuracy. Our translations are accepted by USCIS, courts, embassies, and academic institutions. We cover Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin, Russian, Arabic, and many more languages.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can book online 24/7 through our scheduling page, call us at (929) 717-2604, or text us at (914) 902-8605. Same-day appointments are available, and we'll confirm your booking promptly.
What types of documents can you notarize?
We notarize virtually any document that requires notarization: loan documents (mortgages, refinances, HELOCs), Powers of Attorney, affidavits and jurats, estate planning documents (wills, trusts), real estate deeds and contracts, parental consent forms, DMV forms, and more. If you have a document you're unsure about, call us.
